I am as strong as a lion because I have a strong fist.
I am as kind as a flamingo because flamingos don't hurt people.
I am as artistic as an artist because I can draw cool things.
I am fast as a cheetah because I can run fast.
I am as clever as a scientist because I am brainy.

Hi there Shalom! I work with some Year 5/6 kids in Dunedin. I have a group working on similes and thought I might use your poem tomorrow, if you don't mind... I really the way you have explained your simile with an example (eg. strong fist)
