We've been learning about some of the features of poetry. One of these features is alliteration. Alliteration is the repetition of an initial sound, for example, Wyatt walked wildly while wearing a wig. You can use alliteration to give your poem a mood or feeling. The mood could be scary, silly, happy almost any, it just depends on what words you choose. Here is a number alliteration poem from Wyatt. What mood do you think Wyatt created?

Well done Wyatt! That was a great alliteration poem that your wrote. Was it hard coming up with those ideas? You are very clever.

Dear Wyatt,
Wow! That was a really fun alliteration poem. I can tell you had to think hard about those initial letters.
I might try to write one myself.
Love from Mrs Jarman.
Cool number poem! We like how you used lots of describing words, moods and feelings. We think the mood you chose was angry. Are we right?
